Keeping your website up-to-date

All websites need to be up-to-date to be effective. Major redesigns and extensive updates can be avoided with regular maintenance. We can keep your website in good working order regardless of whether or not we built it.

By default, we don't include a maintenance package along with our new website packages or other services. Some people prefer to handle the maintenance in-house, but we often find that clients who don't add a maintenance package come to us later needing major work done.

How we maintain your website

All websites need regular care to ensure that the content is accurate. This includes items such as updating staff lists, services, location, special promotions, changes of hours, and other similar common but not necessarily frequent changes.

The code will also need regular maintenance. External links and third-party plugins do break and the release of new browsers can change the way code is handled. We'll fix issues like these as needed.

Once a maintenance package is in place, you'll need to contact us with the appropriate changes that need to be made. There is no hourly limit on these services, but major edits such as layout or navigation changes will be billed at our hourly rate.
